The flash always leaves a shade to the left part in the wall if the person is 30 cm of wall or curtain etc , they listen well always it leaves to the left part of the photo a shade, the disigners of the camera left very far the flash of the lens and this produces this unbearable shade in all the photos all the settings exept when is in the beach or exterior photo ,,but try dont shoot in a room ,i lost 395 bills in a orange one but i am very disapointed with this camera.you need a gamer computer to replay de hd videos .all the photos in all settings looks washed horrible washed ,there is no settings to change for that allways is washed ,the only good thing is leica lenses but not to paid 400$ for a piece of glass, i compare all the photos taken with my old pentax optio s4 that only is 4 megapixels

First of all, although the wider lens is nice, this camera has very poor performance with low light conditions compared to my Canon G9. I bought it for the waterproof capability. I used it under water one time, and followed all the instructions. I have to say some of the underwater photos were decent if enough light was present. The second time, the camera failed to turn on whatsoever, and I missed taking pictures of sea turtles.

This very expensive camera does not come with a power cord to charge the battery. You must remove the battery and plug it into a wall outlet. That is not very convenient if all our outlets are hard to access.
Fine. So I purchased the DMW-AC5 cable, which Panasonic claims is compatible with the Lumix series of cameras. This is a VERY expensive power cable indeed. And guess what? It does not even plug into the Lumix DMS-TS1 unless you buy yet another adapter cable.
What a scam. You end up paying 20-25% of the price of the camera all over again, just to charge the stupid battery.
So, I am done with Panasonic cameras. Learn your lesson Panasonic.

Amazing features. Waterproof, shock proof, dust proof, me proof (kidding) for this price is great! Some lighting outside doesn’t produce the best pictures but granted I haven’t read the manual completely. Still working on that. The HD video quality is amazing.
